For the love of sourdough

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Melanie, a dietitian and chef who loves good food. You may not know that I joined the sourdough bandwagon late. Like way after the COVID craze, kind of the way I got into IG years after that was popular too.

Anyway, I started making it when a colleague (and friend) at Dole told me we needed to be more on top of sourdough trends for social. While I thought it would end there. It didn’t. Instead, I started experimenting with all kinds of bread, and now I’ve found my favorite and I’m never turning back. The Artisan Sourdough Loaf. It takes two full days to make, but wow is it worth it. And since we’re in North Carolina and don’t have a good bakery in sight, making my own is the only way to go. It tastes better, is made with high quality ingredients and it happens to be better for you too.
